Methods of payment
Access to Mercabarna is restricted by a toll. This system ensures entrance only by people on valid business and enables security to be maintained and vehicle access to be controlled.
Entrance ticket:
- Acquired at the Mercabarna manual entrance toll booth. For access on one single occasion.
Prepaid cards:
- Intended for people who come to Mercabarna on a regular basis (up to three times a week).
- Extra prepayment can be credited to the card.
- Pay-as-you-go system, every time you enter the precinct the corresponding charge is deducted from the available credit on the card.
- This system of payment represents a 40% saving with respect to the entrance ticket system.
Annual season tickets:
- For those in the trade who come to Mercabarna very frequently.
- This ticket provides unlimited access to Mercabarna during its period of validity (from 1 February to 31 January of the following year).
- Users make one payment per year.
