Fish and sea-food

The Central Fish Market, in association with the Gremi de Majoristes de Peix i Marisc Fresc i Congelat de Barcelona i Província – GMP (Barcelona and Province Fresh and Frozen Fish and Seafood Wholesalers’ Guild), has published an information poster on traceability in the fresh fish and sea-food sector.

Issued with the aim of providing a useful tool for those who work in this sector, the poster explains the concept of traceability, summarises European legislation regarding it and, above all, shows in a very graphic and detailed way how traceability is to be applied by all those involved in the production and distribution of fresh fish and sea-food.
