Mercabarna’s Training Area provides a consultancy service both for companies located in Mercabarna and those outside it. Main areas of specialisation:
Food safety
- Design, introduction and monitoring of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points)
- Traceability and labelling
- Internal audits
Training plans and grant management for companies
By law, all companies have a credit for continuing training, assigned in accordance with the number of workers and their contributions to the Social Security the previous year.
Many companies do not know this system and hence do not take advantage of this ‘free’ (credited) business training.
The Training Area offers to manage training plans on companies’ behalf, as well as to perform the necessary formalities to obtain grants for continuing training.
